      • The diaper change mat is torn. Mat removed during the inspection.Replace the diaper change mat with a durable, easily-cleaned mat that is impervious to moisture.Ensure that all equipment are maintained in good repair.

      • Single use cutlery were being reused at the facility, and stored with their business ends upwards. The cutlery were discarded during the inspection. Ensure that cutlery is stored in a manner that prevents contamination of their business ends. Single use cutlery must not be reused.

      • Bottle of sanitizer solution in the ECDP room found unlabeled.Solution labeled during the inspection. Ensure that spray bottles are always labeled appropriately with their contents, concentration and any other pertinent information.

    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • The handwashing sinks in the main washroom were missing single use towels.Paper towel was provided during the inspection. Ensure that all hand washing sinks are always supplied with paper towel in suitable dispensers. The washrooms must be routinely checked and supplies replenished as needed.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • The surface underneath the diaper change table mats in the Infant and Preschool rooms have some debris. The surfaces and mats were cleaned and disinfected during the inspection. Ensure that diaper change stations are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use. Diapering procedure is not posted at the diapering station in the Preschool room. Ensure that the procedure is posted.

      • The hand washing sink in the main washrooms are not supplied with paper towel. Paper towel supplied during the inspection. Ensure that washrooms are adequately supplied with liquid soap and paper towel in appropriate dispensers at all times.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The faucet of the hand sink in the ECDP room is damaged. A service provider has reportedly been contact to repair it. A hand sink is available for use in the adjoining room.Ensure that the repair is completed as soon as possible.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Bubble wrap has been taped underneath the handwashing sink in the Infant room to provide a cushion and prevent injury from children crawling underneath and bumping their heads. Replace the bubble wrap with an appropriate easily-cleaned material. A permanent solution is required.
