    • 305 - Repeat Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: Back door has gaps at the bottom that can allow entry of pests into the food premises.
      • Corrective Action: Please ensure all gaps are sealed adequately to prevent the entry of pests

      • Observation: Back door has gaps at the bottom left and right corners that can allow entry of the pests into the food premises which can further lead to foodborne illnesses.
      • Corrective Action: Back door should be completely sealed off to prevent entry of the pests into food premises.
    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: The chemical dishwasher was only able to dispense 10 ppm chlorine at the time of inspecion. Public Health Significance - The chemical dishwasher should be able to dispense chlorine solution between 50-100ppm to be able to effectively sanitize utensils and equipment and prevent from spreading foodborne illnesses.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to have an Ecolab technician to visit and repair the dishwasher so that it is able to dispense minimum of 50 ppm chlorine.

      • Observation: A remote inspection of this premises was conducted by phone on DD-MMM-YY. The operator completed a Food Premises Self-inspection Checklist and submitted this along with any requested supporting documents to the environmental health officer. An on-site inspection was not conducted by the environmental health officer.
      • Corrective Action: N/A
    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: The chemical dishwasher was only able to dispense around 30 ppm chlorine as observed in the remote inspecion. Public Health Significance - The chemical dishwasher should be able to dispense chlorine solution between 50-100ppm to be able to effectively sanitize utensils and equipment and prevent from spreading foodborne illnesses.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to have an Ecolab technician to visit and repair the dishwasher so that it is able to dispense minimum of 50 ppm chlorine.
