    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • The cutting blade of the large can opener had accumulation of sauce/debris.-ensure the can opener is cleaned/sanitized after use.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • There was a hole in the ceiling above the dishwashing area. It appears a vent/cover was missing.-install the cover/vent or patch the hole and ensure the surface is smooth, durable, non-absorbent and easily washable.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Surface of walls in some areas (pass through at dishwashing area and back door) were damaged and no longer smooth and easily cleanable.- All surfaces must be clean, smooth and maintained in good repair. Repair/Replace any broken tiles.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The wall and ceiling next to the ovens (corner) had a build up of grease/oil.-clean the wall and ceiling by the oven area/corner.

    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • **The violation still exist**Update April 20, 2023;**Repeat Violation**- Surface of wall still needs refinishing - noted again on the entrance to the back area left of the deep fryers.Surface of walls in some areas are damaged/rough and no longer smooth and easily cleanable.- One example is near the entrance to the back area from the front grill area.- All surfaces must be clean, smooth and maintained in good repair.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • A written cleaning schedule was not available.- Prepare, implement, and maintain a detailed written sanitation program to facilitate the proper cleaning of all areas of the food establishment, including equipment, and structural surfaces. The sanitation program must include a list of all cleaning and sanitizing agents used within the food establishment. The sanitation program must be submitted to an Alberta Health Services Executive Officer for review.

      • No paper towel dispenser for the bar area.- Please acquire a paper towel dispenser to prevent getting additional sheets of paper towel contaminated and/or wet when tearing. - Please do not use a reusable towel for drying hands as it can re-contaminate clean hands.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?

      • ** The violation still exists**Update April 20, 2023:**Repeat Violation**- Kitchen manager has stated it will be fixed in 1-2 weeks.Panel / cover missing from open section of ceiling near dishwasher (hole present).Replace panel.Surfaces must be maintained in good repair.*Above noted during last inspection (Aug 2021) and still outstanding. Additional broken sections of ceiling present now*.
