    • 28. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Critical)?
      • The girls’ washroom hand sink: two taps are out of order, and one tap does not provide hot water.- The school principal submitted a work order to the school division at the time of inspection.- Temporarily, girls will use the washroom in the diapering room, which is currently not in use (the program does not provide diapering currently).

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1. Through discussion, the Public Health Inspector learned that diapering (only one child requires diaper changing) was being performed in the pre-school room where there is no approved diapering area (no dedicated diapering table/surface, no dedicated hand sink for diapering). The facility was granted approval to perform diapering in the staff washroom. - The assistant principal and staff taking care of children were instructed to perform diapering in the staff washroom effective immediately. 2. No test strips were available to measure concentration of chlorine/bleach solution. - Please obtain test strips and implement use.
