- Observation: Large rectangular plastic containers used in mid production seciton to hold fried chips waste. The containers had visible grease on them. When asked how the facility washes these containers, staff directed me to the mop sink.
- Corrective Action(s): 1. Mop sink is for dirty water only and must not be used for other purposes.
- 2. Containers, even for waste, must be washed and sanitized properly in facility. Using a mop sink is not an option. 3-compartment dishwashing sink in facility appears to be out of commission.
- 3. Facility must find ways to wash and sanitize equipment properly. For manual dishwashing: wash in hot soapy water; rinse in clean water; soak in sanitizer for 2 mintues; then air dry.

- Observation: Handwashing station at the mid section has a broken cold water tap, as no cold water is coming out. Only hot water is coming out.
- Corrective Action(s): Hanwashing station must have hot and cold running water at all times.

- Observation: Since handwashing station at mid production area has a broken cold water tap, staff cannot wash hands properly. When asked, one staff indicated she has not washed her hands at this sink today, hence she does not know the cold water tap is broken. The particular staff did mention hands are washed in staff room.
- Corrective Action(s): When returning to work, staff must wash their hands at designated handwashing station, before commencing of work. For example, if staff has gone to washroom, staff will need to wash hands again before resuming work, even though hands are assumed washed in washroom.

- 3. Staff must actively clean and monitor daily.
