      • -The sink of the kitchen toy in Room 1 was cracked and broken. Please remove/replace.

      • -Sleeping mats in Room 4 had holes in the corners. Please repair/replace.

      • -The colourful foam blocks in Room 4 had bite marks; this is a potential choking hazard. Please remove all damaged blocks. Foam blocks are not recommended in toddler rooms for this reason.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • -There was some glitter in Room 4 that did not have a non-toxic label. Please remove. Please ensure all craft supplies (ex. paints, glues, glitter) have a non-toxic label.-Water beads were observed in Room 4. Please remove and do not use as they are a hazard.-Borax was observed in Room 1; this prohibited for use by children. Please remove.

      • -The backplash behind the sink in Room 4 was not secured to the wall. Please secure.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -The sink of the kitchen toy in Room 1 was cracked and broken. Please remove/replace.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • -The lego tables in Room 1 and Room 2 were visibly dirty. Please clean.
    • 23. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Critical)?
      • -Sleeping mats in Room 4 had holes in the corners. Please repair/replace.
    • 28. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Critical)?
      • -The potty seat in Room 3 was stored on the floor. Please have appropriate storage available for the seat when not in use.
    • 30. Are workers washing hands when appropriate and/or in a proper manner?
      • -The hand sanitizer in Room 4 and Room 1 was expired. Please replace.

    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • In rooms 1 & 4, the maximum water temperature peaks at 51C, then slowly decreases to around 48C. Please have this adjusted such that the maximum possible temperature of the water is no higher than 49C. 43C is recommended.

      • The bleach disinfectant bottle for the diaper changing table in room 4 was measured at 0 ppm chlorine. Please prepare a new solution of at least 100 ppm chlorine.

      • Room 3 has a chair and couch with torn materials. Please purchase a washable cover for these items or dispose of them.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • In rooms 1 & 4, the maximum water temperature peaks at 51C, then slowly decreases to around 48C. Please have this adjusted such that the maximum possible temperature of the water is no higher than 49C. 43C is recommended.
