Eva Ore is, without question, the best restaurant in the South Cariboo. We are incredibly lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre in our community. The menu is always changing based on what’s fresh and in season, so every visit is different. It is, hands down, the best brunch in the South Cariboo. In fact, if you’re looking for a true brunch experience, there’s nowhere else around here that even offers one quite like it. Whether it’s brunch, lunch, or one of his special dinner services, the food is consistently creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Nothing is ever boring—every dish is thoughtfully seasoned and made with care. As vegans, we’ve never felt more understood by a chef. This isn’t a place that simply throws a Beyond Burger on the menu and calls it a day. He creates incredible vegan meals from scratch using fresh vegetables, grains, herbs, spices, and flavours that are every bit as exciting and satisfying as any other dish. If you don’t eat meat, dairy, or eggs, this is the restaurant you’ve been looking for. One of our favourite experiences is booking one of his special dinners. We simply tell him we’re coming, and he creates the menu. We’ve enjoyed everything from incredible three-course dinners to an unforgettable five-course meal, and every single course has been outstanding. The quality of the food, the creativity, the freshness, and the portions are an unbelievable value. Honestly, I think he could charge more and it would still be worth every penny. Eva Ore is unlike anything else you’ll find in the South Cariboo. If you’re looking for an exceptional meal made by a chef who genuinely cares about food, this is the place. We recommend it to everyone, and it has become our first choice whenever we want a meal that’s truly memorable.

The hidden gem of 100 miles house. If you are just passing by or live here, this restaurant is a must try. The menu is small and changes daily but everything is excellent. My wife and I had the Rueben and the Jerk chicken sandwich, which came on homemade pita.

10/10 best food I've had in 100 mile!! Highly recommend, very unique food; flavorful and filled with soul. As a big foodie, this place is one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to. It is certainly the most memorable restaurant. Homemade kombucha, local flavors... If I could come here every day I would, and will certainly come back again!

What a pleasant surprise! Was searching for some healthier/more interesting food while stopping through 100 mile. Glad I took a chance on this place. Owner was very friendly and attentive. Offered to make whatever I wanted if I didn't see it on the menu. I got the bibimbap which wasn't transitional but sooo delicious. Can't beat the price either. He saw I had some extra rice left near the end of the meal. Ended up surprising me by cooking up some more food to eat my rice with. Next time I'm back in the area will forsure be coming back

We stopped at this restaurant completely by chance on our way home from Mt. Timothy. I had quickly looked up places to eat nearby and one review really stuck with me — it said the chef truly cares about feeding people. That made me curious, so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the chef and owner greeted us and told us he was actually just about to close. But instead of turning us away he kindly invited us in anyway and offered us coffee, tea, and even food. That alone already said a lot about the place. And the meal was amazing. My husband had the steak and I ordered the strata. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were really well balanced with just the right amount of spice, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. What made the whole experience even more special was how welcoming the owner was. You could really feel that he enjoys what he does. We were very grateful he let us in even though he was closing. If you’re passing through the area, I would definitely recommend stopping here. It felt like one of those rare places where the food is incredible but the hospitality is even better.
