      • Bingo markers not safe for children were found throughout the facility.The operator was informed about acceptable markers for children, labelled with an "AP" stamp or labelled as non-toxic with an age range. The operator promptly removed the craft items. Please sort through all craft materials and remove anything potentially hazardous to children.

      • Child safety locks were missing from the counter cabinets located in the infant where chemicals and miscellaneous items were stored.Please install child safety locks on the cabinets to prevent access to hazards.

      • The surfaces of the diaper changing station located in the sr. toddler room was soiled in dirt and loose debris.The operator was instructed to remove the diaper changing mat to clean and sanitize all surfaces.

      • The highchair straps located in the infant room were soiled in food debris.Please clean and disinfect the straps.

      • The tape from the light table located in the senior toddler room was peeling, trapping dirt and contaminants.Please replace the tape from the light table.

      • The mouthed toy bin was missing in the jr. toddler room.The operator promptly obtained a mouthed toy bin. Please ensure the infant and toddler rooms are equipped with a mouthed toy bin at all times.

      • The caulking around the handwash sinks throughout the facility were in disrepair.Please remove and replace the old caulking with a new bead of silicone.

      • There were 2 electric kettles with hot water on the storage countertop beside the pre-kindergarten classroom.The kettles were moved to a locked shelf during inspection. Please keep the electric kettles away from children's access when not in use. Ensure that hot water is not sitting on the countertop unattended to prevent the risk of scalding.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • A Supermax shaving cream that is unsafe for children's use was found on a shelf in the preschool classroom. The shaving cream was discarded by the staff during the inspection. Please obtain a children-safe alternative for shaving cream.
