- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- Evidence of mouse droppings were found underneath the handwash sink and in the cabinet beside it. The kitchen was equipped with bait stations that were observed to be untouched.Please ensure that the mouse droppings are carefully cleaned by spraying them with a 1:9 chlorine solution and allowing it to sit for five minutes. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and a mask, to minimize exposure to potential contaminants. Locate any holes and gaps and fill them with steel wool, then seal them to prevent the entry of unwanted pests. The operator is currently responsible for their own pest control. Please monitor the pest activity and adjust the frequency of treatment accordingly.

- The handwash sink was blocked at the time of inspection with trays of food being prepared and there were pieces of plastic and paper towel in the handwash sink.Please ensure the handwash sink is kept clear and easily accessible at all times.
