- Observation: 1) Dry storage area has a large amount of rodent activity and droppings. Food and items that come into contact with food have droppings on them including (chocolate, take out containers, take out cups, coffee filters etc). All food contaminated with rodent droppings discarded.
- 2) Ice cream freezer has raw, breaded chicken also stored in the freezer.
- Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure all food and items that come into food contact such as take out containers, coffee filters, salt and pepper packages etc must be stored in pest proof containers (plastic/metal) to protect them from contamination.
- 2) As mentioned previously, ensure lid is always on the ice cream to prevent accidental contamination from the chicken product.
