      • Sugar bins for cotton candy were observed to have single use popcorn containers used to scoop the sugar. The popcorn containers were stored directly in the product.Public Health Inspector instructed staff to remove the popcorn containers from the sugar bins and to discard them into the garbage during the inspection. Public Health Inspector provided education on the use of proper scoops for bulk food products and to ensure that scoops are stored in an upright position (handle facing up).Ensure that scoops used to dispense bulk foods have a handle and are properly stored to prevent contamination. Single use food containers without a handle must not be used to scoop bulk food products.

      • Bleach sanitizer was noted at 50 ppm. Please ensure the bleach sanitizer is maintained at a concentration of 100 ppm. Staff mixed bleach sanitizer during the inspection, and it measured a concentration of 100 ppm.

      • 1. Disposable popcorn cups were used as a scoop in the ingredient bins. Discussed issue with operator and he indicated that new scoops would be obtained after the inspections.Ensure appropriate scoops with handles are used to transfer the bulk food items from thebins.2. The ingredient bins for sugar were observed contaminated from inside with other food and were in unsanitary condition. The sugar was also contaminated along with the bins. Discussed with the operator to ensure all the contents of the bins are discarded, and the bins are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly before use.

      • 1. One of the cabinet doors near the cotton candy machines is in disrepair. 1. Please repair the door and ensure all cabinet doors are maintained in good repair. 2. Two windows on the unit are missing, according to staff the windows are broken. 2. Please install new windows and monitor the weather conditions to prevent potential water infiltration into the unit.Staff indicated the windows are being ordered and some time is required for installation.
