    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The dining room back door seal had a gap to the outside. All exterior doors must be completely sealed to the outside to prevent the entry of pests and/or vermin.A large amount of cardboard was stored on the back deck near the dining room door. Piles like this can become a harborage point for pests/vermin and should be removed.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The interior wood of the peninsula counter was unfinished. Refinish this wood to be smooth, non-porous, and easily cleanable.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The vent hood filters were visibly dirty and require cleaning and/or replacement.
