    • 301 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Sanitization bucket with cloth to sanitize the food contact surfaces was not set up during the time of inspection
      • Corrective Action: Operator immediately prepared bleach solution in a bucket with a tidy wiping cloth placed in it. Unsanitary food contact surfaces may contaminate the other food being prepared on the same surfaces. The food contact surfaces must be cleaned and sanitized routinely and in between preparing different food items to reduce the risk of cross contamination. Operator was told to maintain appropriate sanitization buckets with clean wiping cloths. Operator was educated on the cleaning and sanitizing procedures
    • 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Hand soap was missing at hand washing sink, when asked the operator reported that they were using dish soap for washing hands.
      • Corrective Action: Operator sent the employee to purchase a bottle of hand soap. Improper handwashing may lead to the spread of pathogenic disease causing bacteria onto the food which may lead to food born illness when the food is consumed by the customers.
