    I love that the meals cut down on the prep time and the food is quite flavourful. The problem is that the quality of ingredients is often poor. From open meat that leaked everywhere, to rock hard avocados, to all 6 bags of mixed greens in my kit being slimy…. At the end of the day 4/4 meals had at least one ingredient unusable. If you’re able to sub out ingredients at home maybe you will like it more.

The recipes are consistently delicious, the ingredients are always fresh, and the value is unbeatable. Their customer service is genuinely outstanding! Responsive, thoughtful, and always helpful. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

    We run and operate a fitness studio on Vancouver Island, and initially Fresh Prep seemed like a great fit for our community. Their products looked strong, and we felt they could potentially help solve some very real challenges our members face around time, nutrition knowledge, convenience, and overall food quality. Our early experience with the company was positive. They were easy to reach, responsive, and even took the time to meet with us, which made us genuinely excited about the possibility of working together. Unfortunately, once it came time to take the next steps, the experience changed. After several weeks and multiple attempts to reconnect and move things forward, we essentially stopped receiving responses. To be clear, this rating is not a reflection of the quality of Fresh Prep’s food or products. We were actually looking forward to trying them ourselves as the next step in evaluating whether this was something we wanted to recommend to our members. Unfortunately, we never got that far. The rating simply reflects our experience trying to work with the company. We started out very excited about the potential partnership, but the lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing.

    Great recipe, but terrible on the quality control. We ordered 2x Apricot Dijon Chicken. One of the packages of green beans was very old and starting to go moldy. Yuck

    I’ve been using Fresh Prep for a while now, and honestly, every single meal has been a win. Even on the weeks where I forgot to preorder and the meals were chosen for me, they still ended up being perfect. It’s taken so much stress off my plate, no more standing in the kitchen wondering what to make after a long day. The quality has blown me away. I’ve tried other meal services before, and nothing even comes close. These meals taste like they came straight out of a five‑star restaurant, every time. And the real test? My teenage kids… who are notoriously picky, have loved every meal we’ve made. That alone feels pretty amazing! Fresh Prep has genuinely made our evenings easier, tastier, and way less chaotic. Highly recommend.
