    • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No paper towel was available in the dispenser by the handwash station next to the 2-compartment sink.
      • Corrective Action(s): Operator refilled the paper towel dispenser during the inspection.
      • Operator must ensure that the paper towel dispenser is stocked at all time. All handwash stations must always be equipped with paper towel and soap so that food handlers can perform proper handwashing when required.

    • 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
      • Observation: Two new ice cream freezers and coffee dispenser has been added since the last routine inspection but Fraser Health was not notified.
      • Corrective Action(s): Submit an updated floor plan to the district inspector that reflects the true layout of the facility.
      • Going forward, please inform Fraser Health and seek approval for any addition/ removal or change in equipment prior to making the change. The facility is approved based on food flow and placement of handwash stations therefore Fraser Health must always be notified of such change in writing (updated floor plan) so proper assessment can be made prior to the change.
