Observed paper towel dispenser unit laying on shelving racks above exposed hand sink in rear. Instructed manager to repair and to maintain at all times.

    • 12. HAND WASHING FACILITIES: WITH SOAP AND SANITARY HAND DRYING DEVICES, CONVENIENT AND ACCESSIBLE TO FOOD PREP AREA
      • Observed spray bottle inside basin of hand sink, and several large items (garbage can, etc.) or pieces of equipment stored in front of hand sink in rear prep area. Hand sink must be easily accessible at all times. Hand sink may only be used for washing hands. Instructed must not store any items inside hand sinks. Operator removed spray bottle and rearranged items to provide access to hand sink during inspection. Critical violation 7-38-030.

      • Observed liquid dripping from air conditioning unit onto clean food contact surfaces (bowls, pans, utensils, etc.). Contaminated water is also dripping onto drying racks, and into 3 compartment sink below. Instructed must clean and sanitize all utensils and relocate clean utensils to prevent future contamination. Must provide barrier or protection for 3 compartment sink to prevent contamination from liquid dripping from air condition unit above. Serious violation 7-38-005(a).
