    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Orkin pest control is scheduled to address the mouse issue today. A few exterior doors have slight gaps between the weather strip where light penetrates. *Renew weather strip as needed to ensure gaps are sealed.*Maintain pest control records and maintain records for pest control monitoring, ongoing.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Community halls are a place of gathering where food is prepared and served to the public. Please obtain a food handling permit.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • One kitchen tap has a small leak. Basement storage room drywall is water damaged and growing mold.*Repair or replace kitchen tap.*Cut out and replace affected drywall.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Mouse droppings were observed in the kitchen and upstairs and downstairs bathrooms - these areas were being addressed by the cleaner. Droppings are likely throughout the building in the carpet and other rooms. *Conduct cleaning and sanitation throughout the building to remove mouse droppings and scent trails.
