    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Staff hand-washing sink had paper-towels located in cupboard located under the sink. Staff stated that they usually go into the washroom located next to the hand-sink to grab paper towel from there or underneath the sink. Inspector advised to have paper towel that is more easily accessible for that hand-sink instead of being stored underneath it. Every dedicated handwashing sink must have single-service disposable or individual-use towels in suitable dispensers.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • There are two first aid kits; one small band-aid plastic container for small supplies and one main large metal first aid kit stored under staff hand-washing sink. Main large kit was found to have expired antiseptic wipes (Expired: 10/2014). Please ensure first aid kits are stocked with new supplies to ensure that supplies are readily available for emergency response and treatment.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • There are no chlorine or QUATS test strips to verify sanitizer solution concentration. Please ensure that appropriate test strips are stored & available for convenient use, sanitizer solutions are being made at the correct concentration and that solutions are made fresh daily.
