    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • -A hair wash sink was reportedly being used for reprocessing of non-critical equipment. Procedure for decontamination of dual-purpose sink was established.-Written procedure for client care in case of accidental cut or injury was discussed onsite. Printed copies of AHS templates for above mentioned procedures were provided to the operator.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The clippers were observed not being disinfected properly. The contact time for disinfection was not being observed.Following the directions of manufacturer for use of disinfectant were discussed onsite.Ensure the contact time of each disinfectant is met before reuse of clippers.
