      • Bleach was available; however, a sanitizing solution had not been prepared. - Ensure a 100ppm bleach sanitizing solution is prepared and verified using test strips.

      • 2 boxes of frozen turkey were noted thawing out at room temperature. Operator noted that they are thawing to be portioned out. Operator was instructed to make room on the bottom shelf of the drink cooler to properly thaw the turkey, due to limited cooler space

      • Facility buys frozen meat in bulk for further portioning however does not have adequate cooler space to properly thaw frozen meat. - Ensure, if frozen meat is to be thawed for further portioning, that a cooler is obtained.

      • 1. The back storage around the exit door is noted with garbage littered.- Piling of garbage can lead to pest infestation.- Ensure to discard the garbage.2. The freezers at the back area near the exit door.- Ensure to clean the freezers and maintain then in a sanitary condition at all times.3. The walk-in cooler is disorganized.- Ensure that the walk-in cooler is organized to allow for proper cleaning and to prevent tripping hazards.
