Inspection summary
Granada Restaurant has been inspected 4 times by Vancouver Coastal Health since May 27, 2024. The most recent inspection, on November 4, 2025, found no infractions.
2 of 4 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there were 2 inspections with 1 infraction recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Cleaning and sanitizing, Handwashing and staff hygiene and Chemicals and toxic substances.
Recent inspections have recorded fewer infractions than earlier ones, so the record is improving.
What these findings mean
Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.
Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk
Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.
Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on November 3, 2025. For example:
The premises and all equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces are maintained in good condition and used in a manner that ensures safe and sanitary food handling.
Handwashing and staff hygieneHigher risk
Hands are the main way germs like norovirus move from people to food. Inspectors look for stocked, accessible handwashing sinks, staff washing hands when required, hair restraints, and sick employees being kept away from food. Gaps here can spread illness quickly.
Recorded once on May 27, 2024. For example:
Each employee demonstrates good personal hygiene and washes their hands as often as necessary to prevent the contamination of food.
Chemicals and toxic substancesHigher risk
Cleaning products, sanitizers and pesticides must be labelled and stored away from food and food-contact surfaces. Inspectors flag chemicals that could end up in food, as well as pest treatments applied without proper supervision.
Recorded once on May 27, 2024. For example:
Chemicals, cleansers and similar agents are kept separate from food.
Permits, records and postingLower risk
Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.
Recorded 2 times on May 27, 2024. For example:
An operator of a food service establishment must develop, maintain, and follow written procedures to ensure that a health hazard does not occur in the operation of the establishment.

Very friendly staff and accommodating and that is all that is good. The food is very bad and over priced. We ordered lasangna and wings both are subjective types of food. The wings lack depth of flavor but were 4/10. The lasangna if you want to call it that was 1/10 and thats generous. They did not use lasangna sheets but used the mafaldine noodle and only put meet sauce on top of a bunch of those noodles melted cheese and called it lasangna.

Awesome place for a pizza ( that’s what I had ). The waitress was amazing , friendly and super honest My wife dropped $150 on the floor where we were sitting. The waitress looked for me and found me to return the money. Absolutely amazing lady !! Very highly recommended!!!

It was a nice, quiet restaurant that 5 min drive from our hotel. The pizza taste was great and our order was for small size but honestly there were kind of medium size. Friendly staff and clean.
