      • Observation: Rodent droppings noted left corner in front of walk in cooler and right of out of order 3 door freezer.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all droppings are cleaned up and areas monitored for current pest activity.
      • Most recent pest control report available is May 8, 2018. Keep all pest control reports on-site for review. Email last 2 pest control reports to Fraser Health - business card provided.

      • During inspection report writing operator was able to find the Aug 16, 2018 report. Follow all recommendations noted on report by technician:
      • 1. Keep "back door closed if not in use"
      • 2. "Back door needs a proper door sweep" - install under back door
      • 3. "Place all products at least 6 inch off the ground" - improvements noted up front but improvements are needed in back
      • 4. "Keep under dish pit clean and dry as possible"
      • Fraser Health expects the above recommendations to be complied with the protect premises from pest infestation and issues.

      • Observation: High pile of flat boxes noted in back storage area, unable to access back shelves or see the floor.
      • Back large bulk recycling bin over flowing with boxes in back parking lot.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all boxes/ cardboard is removed regularly from premises. This is a repeat violation and an on-going concern from past inspection. If this continues further enforcement may be used to get compliance.

      • Observation: Green rodent bait (poison) noted in small side room off back room (behind door).
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure no poison bait is used inside of premises (interior) only exterior use only.
      • Concern noted on May 2018 pest control report - technician noted placing 3 bait stations in interior of premises. Do not allow this, technician should know not to do this in a food store.
