      • Observation: Permit available at the time of inspection but not posted in a conspicuous location.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to post the permit to operate at a conpicuous location.
    • 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
      • Observation: A considerable presence of flies was observed throughout the kitchen area during the inspection. No active food preparation was occurring at the time. A fly trap was installed but appeared to be at capacity and no longer effective. (Public Health Significance) The presence of flies in a food establishment poses a contamination risk, as flies can carry and transmit pathogens to food contact surfaces and food products, potentially leading to foodborne illness.
      • Corrective Action: Remove any pest attractants such as food and water, eliminate access to the building and routes they use inside.The operator acknowledged the issue and indicated that pest control services (Orkin) would be contacted promptly to address and resolve the infestation. Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces and monitor situation.
