      • PREVIOUSLY - There was a gap on the backdoor. This would allow the potential entry of pests and vermin into the facility. The inspector informed the operator that all openings to the outside, including doors and windows, must be tight-fitting to prevent potential pest infestation.July 17, 2025.Back door still not tight-fitting. Gaps observed at the bottom.Please fix this to prevent potential pest infestation.Jan 26, 2026 - operator reports that a new door sweep had been installed, but it has become damaged and removed.This leaves an approximately 0.5 inch gap along the entire bottom of the door.There is a smaller gap on the lower half along the door opening side of the door, as well.Please make any necessary repairs so that this rear door has an air-tight seal - to keep insects and rodents out of your building.

    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • A hydrogen peroxide solution was being used to sanitize the water bottles/containers. The chemical manufacturer requires the solution to have 800-1100 ppm hydrogen peroxide concentration to sanitize food-contact surfaces. However, there were no test strips available on site to verify this concentration during the inspection. Thus, the inspector informed the staff to contact their chemical manufacturer to obtain test strips to verify the hydrogen peroxide concentration. Please obtain test strips.July 17, 2025.Test strips for Hydrogen peroxide still not available.Please contact your chemical supplier or search on-line for the appropriate test strips and provide me with photo-evidence.

      • The operator was not aware of needing to complete a self-monitoring Pest Control Checklist, and to do this on a monthly basis.Keep the completed copy in a file or binder for future review by the PHI.PHI will attach a copy of the Pest Control Checklist in an email with this report.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The washroom door was not equipped with a self-closing system. The inspector informed the staff/operator that washrooms in the facility must be tight fitting and equipped with a self-closing door.
