    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Peanut butter, jam, and Smucker's sauces specifying "refrigerate after opening" were found opened at room temperature.Ensure label directions for food storage are followed.Items were placed into the cooler during inspection.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The paper towel dispenser for the hand sink located in the front storage area was blocked by boxes.Ensure the sink, paper towel dispenser, and soap dispenser are easily accessible at all times.Boxes were moved during inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Last pest control record available was from November 2025.Ensure a pest inspection is completed at least once per month and results documented. Records must be available for inspection.No pest concerns were noted during inspection.
    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Two of the garbage bins near hand sinks did not have liners.Ensure all garbage bins have liners to allow for easy cleaning/disposal of waste.Bags were placed in the bins during inspection.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • There were stickers present on the ventilation hood but no dates marked off.Ventilation hoods should be serviced every 6 months. If the date of last service cannot be determined, have the ventilation unit serviced.Note: filters were clean at time of inspection.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The following areas were observed to have a buildup of debris or food residue and require cleaning:- all of the handwashing sinks- small mixer in the bakery area- larger stand mixer guard- the top of jam/peanut butter containers (cleaned during inspection)Ensure all areas and equipment are maintained in clean and sanitary condition.
