      • The container used for storing the to-go paper bags is observed with a buildup of food debris. Ensure that the paper bags are stored in a separate clean container away from the tongs used to pick up food to help prevent cross-contamination. The operator provided a separate container for the tongs during the inspection.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • A rice scoop is observed to be stored on top of the rice cooker lid which makes it prone to contamination. Ensure that the rice scoop is stored in a clean container to help prevent contamination. The operator cleaned and sanitized the rice scoop and placed it in a separate container during the inspection.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • The bleach/chlorine test strips are observed to be expired. Ensure that new test strips are acquired.
