      • Cold storage temperatures were satisfactory, EXCEPT for the antipasti bar cooler. The internal temperature of shrimp in this cooler registered at 9 degrees Celsius. All high risk foods in this cooler were removed and discarded during the inspection.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • One side of the vent hood in the meat department is missing and has been temporarily covered with cardboard. Corrective action: The missing side to the vent hood needs to be replaced. The manager indicated that they are in the process of getting the part for the repair.

      • The Swiss Chard had a snail in it and the customer discovered it while preparing it to eat. It is produced by Coastal Fresh Farms Inc out of Oxnard California, 93030. I spoke with the produce manager at the store about the snail. There is no other contamination of the other Swiss Chard products. They will keep the returned product if further investiagation is required.
