- Meat patties made at a friend's home are not Low Risk Home Prepared Food. Owner was going to sell them to customers at this event. Meat patties were measured at 28.5 degrees C. Discarded the meat patties.High risk foods are not allowed to be made at home. Low-risk, home-prepared foods are items that do not require refrigeration and are considered safe to sell to the public without a food safety permit.
