      • Observation: Foods prepared prior to obtaining health approval stored in the freezer units. Public Health Significance - Foods prepared for public consumption prior to obtaining health approval can be unsafe for consumption as the premises has not yet been inspected and approved for food preparation.
      • Corrective Action: Operator not to use this food to be served to the public.
    • 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: Hand washing station not working at the time of inspection. (Public Health Significance) Hand washing is an important practice to ensure food are protected from cross contamination from other previously handled foods or contact surfaces.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure the hand wash station is fully functional and accessible for use at all times and used only as a hand wash station whenever food is being prepared. Soap and paper towel in dispensers and hot and cold running water must be provided to facilitate proper hand washing.
