      • Found used "single use" toe separators and sterilization bags on the shelves by the reprocessing sink.Discard "single use items after one time use.

      • Corrected During InspectionManicure and pedicure tools were not completely immersed in the PREempt CS20.Ensure all tools are completely immersed in the PREempt CS 20 and track for 20 minutes
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Parchment paper and aluminum foil was used to line the shelves. Remove parchment paper and aluminum foil and clean the shelves when they get dirty. Or lined with a waterproof and cleanable material.

      • No written procedures for the following tasks:-the cleansing of skin and mucous membrane -client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or puncture-decontamination of any sink that will be used for both handwashing and equipment reprocessingProvide written procedures for the following issues.

      • Used callus Pumice Stone, toe separators and sterilization pouches at the manicure stations.Discard all " single use" after each use.
    • 18. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Debris build-up on the eyebrow brushes. Clean these brushes.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1) Manicure and pedicure tools were not completely immersed in the PREempt CS20.Ensure all tools are completely immersed in the PREempt CS 20 and track for 20 minutes 2) Waxing tools such as scissors and tweezers were immersed in 70% alcohol. Use a high-level disinfectant PREempt CS 20 for these tools3) Drill bits were soaked in acetone at the manicure station. Wash and soak in PREempt CS 20.

      • 1) Wax build-up on the wax holder in the waxing room and dust on the waxing room door. Clean holder and door2) Stains and dust build-up on the drawers at the pedicure station. Clean the drawers.3) Nail polish and dust build-up on the drawers at the manicure station. Clean the drawers. 4) Aluminum foil was used to line the shelves. Remove aluminum foil and clean the shelves when they get dirty.
