      • Flies are observed in the kitchen. Operator is advised to take appropriate measures to control flies.
    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Employee are observed eating food in the kitchen. Operator is advised to not to allow anyone to eat food in the kitchen. Operator agreed to it and moved the employee food to staff room at the time of inspection.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Some of the kitchen cabinet doors are loose and not in good repair. Operator is advised to repair these and maintain in good repair.

      • Garbage bin is placed in front of dish washer and dish washer door touches the garbage bin when opened. Operator removed the garbage bin from this place at the time of inspection.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • A part of the countertop is damaged. Operator is advised to repair/ replace the countertop.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Serving utensils are not air dried before storing. Operator is advised to air dry the utensils after washing.

      • ** A spray bottle containing bleach sanitizer solution was not labelled. Please label the spray bottle indicating its content.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • ** The temperature of the dishwasher after the sanitizing cycle was measured to be at 64C at dish level after running multiple cycles. Please contact your service technician, for high temperature dishwashers, a minimum of 71C is required at dish level. Until the dishwasher is repaired, all washed dishware, utensil or equipment must be sanitized in the dishwashing sink using 100ppm chlorine/bleach solution.

      • ** Chlorine test strips were not observed during inspection. Obtain chlorine test strips to measure the concentration of sanitizer solutions.

      • Ensure facility is completing monthly pest control checks and keeping records of checks onsite.

      • Cutting board is found damaged with knife cuts and dirty. Operator indicated that she will replace this with a new cutting board.
