      • Some of the paint used in the facility was labeled not for use from 0-3 years old. Ensure those paints are only provided to the older clients.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • The sleeping cots were not labelled and sheets were being stored directly on the cots. Either store sheets and bedding in separate cubbies and disinfect cots between use, or labelled cots with client names for storage.

      • A gap was visible at the bottom of the back door located in the preschool room. Replace the weather stripping to ensure there is no gap to prevent pest entry.

      • Soap and paper towels were not available at the diapering sink in the infant room. Soap and paper towels were stocked in the infant room immediately upon request.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • A plastic film was observed on several toys that had not yet been removed in the toddler room. The plastic film was removed immediately upon request. Ensure all films are removed to prevent a choking hazard.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The diapering sink in the infant room measured 21.8°C. The temperature was adjusted to measure 42.0°C to facilitate proper handwashing. All other sinks in the facility measured between 37 to 43°C.
