    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Several bottles of syrup were being stored beside the hand sink and could become contaminated due to splashing or dripping when washing hands. A suggestion was made by the PHI to install an additional shelf unit to keep them protected.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • At time of inspection, items were being stored in the three-compartment sink and hand sink. Kindly ensure that items being stored during transport are removed and that both sinks are accessible for use once open to the public.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Monthly pest control records were not available for review at time of inspection.
