    Celebrated a birthday here and it was amazing! If you are near Halfmoon bay/ secret cove, this is a must visit restaurant. It’s literally on a pier so don’t be alarmed if Google doesn’t show you the exact direction. We ordered the tasting menu and it was super cute - the little snacks in the beginning, following by a sumptuous main course and dessert. The service is top notch - they literally sang “Happy Birthday” with the entire restaurant joining in.

    This restaurant is truly INCREDIBLE! I have many allergies and they're always accommodating, even shifting their tasting menu to meet my needs! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! The laid back vibe and the next level food combined with the setting is very very special! Enjoy!

    This is a great place to have a meal on the way to Desolation Sound or Pender Harbour. We stopped in early June 2025 after accidentally finding it open on Google Maps. The last time we were in Secret Cove other folks had it and it was called the Upper Deck, sadly closing after the COVID epidemic. We had given up that it would ever reopen only to find a marvelous tasting menu with a great setting.

    4 of us walked in with no reservations and were seated no problem. A lovely elevated restaurant overlooking the harbour. Staff were fantastic, attentive, and helpful with our questions about the wine and menu. It was a simple menu (in a good way) with options for all dietary eaters. I would have given. +1 had the portion size been a bit better based on the cost. Maybe some bread or olives to start? Mind you, I may be in a lower income bracket than the target demographic. Overall the food was full of flavour, fresh, and everyone at our table was pleased with their meal. If I could be so bold, those little cod nuggets with the Sablefish were so damn tasty - I wonder if you could do a fancy fish and chips or something with those? We will stop again on our next stop in Secret Cove for sure.

    Beautiful Spot on the dock, very busy and you should get a reservation. The food was good, fresh and tasty, but the portion sizes where a little small for the amount of money we paid and for it being basically just pasta it didn't feel like it was truely worth the money, that's why only 3 stars for the food. For the price we paid I expected better.
