    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Quat's sanitizer in bucket located measured 0 ppm in deli department. Staff discarded sanitizer and prepared new during inspection. Discussed changing sanitizer more often and when water becomes dirty looking.
    • 05. Do food handlers refrain from handling food while ill and have acceptable attire and hygiene?
      • Staff were observing leaving the meat department without taking off their gloves or washing their hands. Discussed when changing tasks to remove gloves and complete handwashing. Discussed completing handwashing before putting on gloves.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Staff were washing potatoes in the hand washing sink. Discussed only using the hand sink for washing hands.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Staff have fly traps installed throughout facility. The traps were located above food preparation areas. Discussed moving fly traps above nonfood preparation areas.
