Inspection summary

La Pache Pizza has been inspected 3 times by Vancouver Coastal Health since February 3, 2025. The most recent inspection, on February 17, 2026, recorded 3 infractions.

None of the 3 inspections on record were free of infractions. In the past 12 months there were 2 inspections with 9 infractions recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Cleaning and sanitizing, Protecting food from contamination and Food temperature control.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk

Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.

Recorded 3 times across 3 separate inspections, most recently on February 17, 2026. For example: All equipment, food contact surfaces, utensils, dishes & glasses used on the premises are washed and sanitized in a manner that removes contamination.

  • Protecting food from contaminationHigher risk

This covers how food is stored, prepared and displayed: raw meat kept away from ready-to-eat food, food covered and stored off the floor, and nothing dripping or splashing into it. Cross-contamination from raw to cooked food is a direct route for salmonella and E. coli.

Recorded once on February 12, 2026. For example: Food is handled in a sanitary manner and is not subject to contamination.

  • Food temperature controlHigher risk

Bacteria multiply fastest between about 4 °C and 60 °C (40 °F to 140 °F). Inspectors check that cold food stays cold, hot food stays hot, cooked food is cooled quickly, and that staff have accurate thermometers. Temperature problems are one of the most common causes of food poisoning, so these are treated as critical findings.

Recorded once on February 12, 2026. For example: Potentially hazardous food is at a hot holding temperature that keeps it safe to eat.

  • Permits, records and postingLower risk

Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.

Recorded 6 times across 3 separate inspections, most recently on February 17, 2026. For example: Operator of a food service establishment has developed, maintained, and followed approved written procedures to ensure that a health hazard does not occur.

  • Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk

Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.

Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on February 12, 2026. For example: Operation and maintenance of premises is in accordance with approved floor plans and specifications.

My first time, I picked up two slices veggies and chicken. I loved the thin crest pizza. As for the toppings it was OK. Reasonable priced.

The best pizza ever. The crust is to die for and there are so many toppings on the pizza. Delicious. The prosciutto/arugula is amazing.

So glad La Pache opened a new location on this side of town! Everything about this place is great. The staff are always welcoming and genuinely friendly, and the whole space is always very clean. You can see how much pride they put into what they do. Every pizza is made with care, and you can taste it. The crust has that perfect balance of crisp and chew, the toppings are fresh and layered just right, and the garlic dip is hands down the best in the city. Easily one of the best pizza spots in Vancouver. — Brendan | Helping business owners save money on credit card fees

10/10 every single time. We’ve ordered from La Pache Pizza several times now, and they knock it out of the park every single week. Consistent quality, fast service, and local ownership you feel good about supporting. Highly recommend!

I used to order pizza from these guys but lately, every time I order from them the food arrives cold. Not like just a little bit cold but like stale cold. Makes me feel someone didn't pick up their pizza and they just send it to me. Last 4 times I've ordered from them the pizza has been cold and stale. In every case I tried to contact uber eats but they can never help. So there. Not recommended anymore. Used to be good. Now it's terrible over and over again.
