      • No written procedures for skin cleansing prior to services, reprocessing sink decontamination and accidental cuts were available. Updated on January 6, 2026:The written procedure for sink decontamination is no longer required: a reprocessing sink located in the main service area near the hair services area was designated for tools reprocessing only.

      • The pedicure bath fans were visibly dirty and had debris - the pedicure bath was not cleaned and disinfected after each client. as required. The pedicure bath had internal plumbing for jets, and no liners were available.

    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • No paper towels or paper towels dispenser was observed in the pedicure room. No paper towels were available in the dispenser in the washroom.
    • 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
      • No skin cleansing product was used/observed for skin cleansing prior to waxing/facials services.

      • Single-use tools were being reused: wooden spatula was observed inside waxing pot. Ensure that single-use tools are discarded after each client.
