    • Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?
      • Observation(s): Storage of combustibles in the furnace/laundry room must be 3 feet away from the furnace at all times. Today this room had laundry baskets and egg cartons place too close to the furnace. This was removed during inspection. Ensure sand box is covered when not in use. This was resolved during inspection. Today the stairs had items on them. Ensure the stairs up to the fire exit are kept clear of items at all times.
      • Provide a healthy and safe environment at all times; 13( 1 )
      • Equipment, furniture and supplies must not block or hamper an exit in the case of fire or other emergency; 15( 1 )(b)
