    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • OSC - bleach solution in the OSC requires proper labelling with its contents. (bleach buckets should also be labelled)
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Preschool room - black shelving units (2) had sharp metal corners which could be a protrusion hazard.2) Preschool room - The cover is not able to be removed from the saucer chairs (2) for laundering. Please remove from use pr provide a washable cover.3) Preschool bathroom - The bathroom fan cover was observed to be dirty. Cleaning required.4) Toddler room - the yellow change mat in the toddler room was torn and was not properly cleanable. Please remove form use.5) Toddler room - the black sheving unit in the toddler room was observed to be greater than 4ft tall and was not secured from tipping. Please anchor to the wall to prevent tipping.6) OSC Bathroom - the bathroom fan was observed to be dirty. Cleaning required.

      • There was a patched section of wall in the OSC under the left window. Painting and finishing required. Please ensure the surface is smooth and cleanable.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The surface of the doll house in the preschool room was wearing and a crew was sticking out on the second level. Pleas ensure the surface is smooth, cleanable and will not absorb moisture.The side edge of the counter in the preschool room (right of the sinks) was lifting. Please ensure the surface is smooth and cleanable.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • No hot water present in the facility. Water temperatures were measured at 16-21C.

      • Preschool Room - The transition strip on the flooring was missing. Glue residue was present.Toddler Room - The transition strip in the toddler room was taped in place.Please provide repair to these two areas so that the flooring is smooth and cleanable
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Preschool Room - there was exposed unfinished wood on the side edge of the counter. Please seal this area so that it is smooth and cleanable.
