    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • -Pins were used on the walls throughout the facility for posters, memos, crafts, etc. Push pins that stick out must be removed as they may fall off and cause poke injuries. Flat push pins may still be used but they must be securely covered in tape to prevent falling off.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • -The first aid kit in the OSC room had expired antiseptic pads and gauzes. Replace the antiseptic pads and gauzes and ensure that the kit is fully stocked according to the Type 2: Basic first aid kits.       • -A few of the children's water bottles in the 3-5 room were not individually labelled with names. It was indicated the water bottles were for older children.Have water bottled labelled with names to prevent potential misuse and spread of germs.

      • At the time of the visit sanitizer solution was noted to approx. 50 ppm. This was corrected during the visit. Test strips present onsite as well.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Alcohol base hand sanitizer noted to be expired (05/2024). Ensure hand sanitizer is valid and safe to use.
