Inspection summary

Little Seoul has been inspected 2 times by Vancouver Coastal Health since July 28, 2026. The most recent inspection, on August 25, 2026, found no infractions.

1 of 2 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there were 2 inspections with 4 infractions recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Food temperature control and Cleaning and sanitizing.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • Food temperature controlHigher risk

Bacteria multiply fastest between about 4 °C and 60 °C (40 °F to 140 °F). Inspectors check that cold food stays cold, hot food stays hot, cooked food is cooled quickly, and that staff have accurate thermometers. Temperature problems are one of the most common causes of food poisoning, so these are treated as critical findings.

Recorded once on July 28, 2026. For example: Potentially hazardous food is at a hot holding temperature that keeps it safe to eat.

  • Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk

Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.

Recorded once on July 28, 2026. For example: All equipment, food contact surfaces, utensils, dishes & glasses used on the premises are washed and sanitized in a manner that removes contamination.

  • Permits, records and postingLower risk

Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.

Recorded 2 times on July 28, 2026. For example: Operator of a food service establishment has developed, maintained, and followed approved written procedures to ensure that a health hazard does not occur.

Had a really great experience! And there was a lot of seating, and the sitting area was quite clean. The food itself was decent, and the people were quite nice. Owner came out to ask if the food was okay, which i really appreciated

Came here at around 1pm on a weekday and there was no line. Probably not many people know about this place yet. I got the japchae, beef bulgogi, marinated egg and brussel sprout. The food is nicely seasoned without being overly salty which I appreciate. It tastes homemade and the portions are decent. I will definitely come back and try other things.

Little Seoul is such a convenient and satisfying place to eat. I really like that there are several different food options, so you can choose exactly what you are in the mood for. The service is quick, the portions are generous, and the food is full of flavour. It is perfect when you want something fast and easy but still want a proper, filling meal. Everything feels fresh and well prepared, and it is easy to see why people keep coming back. A great spot for a casual lunch or dinner, and definitely somewhere I would visit again.

One of the best food court Korean spots around. The food is fresh, flavorful, and comes out quickly. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. A great choice when you’re craving a satisfying Korean meal.
