    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Alcohol spray was used on client contact surfaces before disinfecting with Zytec wipes.-Alcohol without a Drug Identification Number is not classified as a disinfectant.-Follow the 5 minutes contact time for Zytec wipes disinfection.-Ensure disinfectant contact time is followed according to manufacturer's instructions at all times.-Use the wipe twice method when using disinfection wipes

      • The bottles containing green soap and distilled water were unlabeled. Operator labeled the bottles.-Ensure all bottles are labeled correctly to identify the content.
    • 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
      • The mobile handwash sink was not cleaned and disinfected before reprocessing of brushes is done. Operator was educated on dual sink procedure-Ensure handwash sink is cleaned and disinfected before reprocessing to prevent cross contamination
