What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk

Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.

Recorded once on August 29, 2023. For example: The premises and all equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces are maintained in good condition and used in a manner that ensures safe and sanitary food handling.

  • PestsHigher risk

Signs of mice, rats, cockroaches or flies, or gaps and clutter that let them get in or hide. Pests carry bacteria and can contaminate food and surfaces, so evidence of activity is treated seriously and usually triggers a follow-up visit.

Recorded once on November 17, 2017. For example: The premises is free of pests.

  • Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk

Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.

Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on June 26, 2025. For example: Operator of a food premises has developed, maintained, and followed approved written procedures to ensure that a health hazard does not occur.

I had an amazing experience at London drugs today all thanks to Jaz F. From the second I came in the door she was extremely helpful as it was my first time getting photos printed. She had a fantastic can-do attitude and a really welcoming and friendly demeanour. Thanks to her caring nature she worked on my photos the same night so I could come back a couple of hours later as I told her it was my friends birthday the following day and I was very last minute gathering photos. Big shoutout to Jaz F who made my day today!!

I visited the London Drugs location on Davie Street and presented a photo of my government-issued ID along with two secondary forms of identification. I understand and respect that store policy may require a physical ID. However, I was disappointed by the way Safiyya handled the situation. She raised her voice and stated that my ID photo could have been edited or be fraudulent. When I asked to speak with a manager, she told me that she was the supervisor. I fully respect the store's policies, but they should be communicated respectfully and professionally. I hope management reviews this incident and ensures customers are treated with courtesy.

I had an amazing experience at London Drugs thanks to Divyank. The customer service was top-tier from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and made everything incredibly smooth and efficient. I really appreciated how quickly he handled everything without making it feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers. Easily one of the best service experiences I’ve had—highly recommend asking for Divyank if you visit!

I went to this post office to drop off a return and had a frustrating experience. There was one employee helping the customer in front of me, and another employee came around to set up the second computer because the keyboard apparently wasn’t working. Once the customer ahead of me left, both employees continued talking amongst themselves and troubleshooting the computer instead of acknowledging me or the woman waiting behind me. They were also having a conversation in another language, hugged each other, and discussed one of them clocking out and needing to talk to their manager, all while customers were standing there waiting. It took around 3–4 minutes before either of them finally acknowledged me and processed my package drop-off. I understand technical issues happen, but basic customer acknowledgment and communication would have gone a long way.

Nice place with everything you’ll need. They have occasional deals, which is good. Dave and ice technology section upstairs with lots of electronics on display and people there if you have any questions. Staff are nice (smiling and saying thank you) but it doesn’t have the best vibe in general though.
