I stopped by Lotus Indian Bistro on MacDonald Street in Vancouver and tried the non-veg tandoori platter. Overall, it was pretty good. The flavors were nice, the portion was decent, and I liked the variety on the plate. Most of it tasted fresh and well-seasoned, but the mutton was a little undercooked for my liking. What I really like about this place is the range of Indian food they offer. There’s a good mix of veg and non-veg dishes, so there’s something for everyone. It’s also in a convenient spot, right next to Starbucks, which makes it easy to find and a nice place to stop by. If you’re in the area and craving Indian food, this is a solid option. The tandoori platter is worth trying, just hopefully the mutton is cooked a bit better next time.

What a pleasant lunch experience today! Interior is clean, decoration is nice and service is excellent! We ordered a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian lunch special, chai latte and onion Bhajia. Portions are very generous and everything is so fresh and delicious! We especially enjoyed the butter chicken and the Naan, best Indian food we’ve tried so far. Will come back for sure!

The lady noticed that we had run out of napkins and refilled them for us. Great customer service! The plates were really clean too. The food was also delicious.

I am so happy this place opened up in the neighbourhood! Really delicious food and good bang for your buck (we had a bunch of leftovers). The chicken vindaloo and chicken biryani were delightful! Will be back again very soon :)
