- Observation: The exhaust hood was greasy with oil built up. (Public Health Significance) - oil may drop back to the food while cooking and can contaminate the food. Greasy equipment will harbor bacterial or other contaminants that can increase the risk of food contamination.
- Corrective Action: Operator to clean and disinfect the exhaust hood.

- Observation: Soiled probe thermometer, mobile phone and payment machine were found on cutting boards. (Public Health Significance) - soiled materials, payment machine and personal item may contain pathogens or contaminate that can contaminate the food contact surfaces.
- Corrective Action: Operator immediately removed the items. Operator to clean and disinfect the cutting boards before use.
- 302 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
- Observation: The waste water tank is frozen and the three compartment sink is not in operation. Hot water is not available. (Public Health Significance) - soiled dishes or utensils could not be properly washed and sanitized in the facility, increasing the risk of food contamination.
- Corrective Action: Operator voluntarily closed the facility as instructed by the Environmental Health Officer.
- 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
- Observation: Handwash sink is not in operation as th waste water tank is frozen. Hot water supply is absent. (Public Health Significance) - Hand washing is an important practice to ensure food are protected from cross contamination from other previously handled foods or contact surfaces. Cold water is a barrier to handwashing.
- Corrective Action: The operator voluntarily closed the facility as instructed by the Environmental Heealth Officer.
