Inspection summary

Lynn Valley Booster Juice has been inspected 17 times by Vancouver Coastal Health since May 4, 2016. The most recent inspection, on October 6, 2026, found no infractions.

8 of 17 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there were 3 inspections with 1 infraction recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Pests, Cleaning and sanitizing and Food temperature control.

Recent inspections have recorded fewer infractions than earlier ones, so the record is improving.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • PestsHigher risk

Signs of mice, rats, cockroaches or flies, or gaps and clutter that let them get in or hide. Pests carry bacteria and can contaminate food and surfaces, so evidence of activity is treated seriously and usually triggers a follow-up visit.

Recorded 7 times across 7 separate inspections, most recently on October 5, 2026. For example: The premises is free of pests.

  • Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk

Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.

Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on August 2, 2016. For example: The premises and all equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces are maintained in good condition and used in a manner that ensures safe and sanitary food handling.

  • Food temperature controlHigher risk

Bacteria multiply fastest between about 4 °C and 60 °C (40 °F to 140 °F). Inspectors check that cold food stays cold, hot food stays hot, cooked food is cooled quickly, and that staff have accurate thermometers. Temperature problems are one of the most common causes of food poisoning, so these are treated as critical findings.

Recorded once on May 4, 2016. For example: Potentially hazardous food is at a refrigerated temperature that keeps it safe to eat.

  • Protecting food from contaminationHigher risk

This covers how food is stored, prepared and displayed: raw meat kept away from ready-to-eat food, food covered and stored off the floor, and nothing dripping or splashing into it. Cross-contamination from raw to cooked food is a direct route for salmonella and E. coli.

Recorded once on May 4, 2016. For example: Each employee washes their hands as often as necessary to prevent the contamination of food.

  • Food safety training and certificationLower risk

Most jurisdictions require a certified food handler or manager on site, and some require allergen or food-worker training. These findings mean the paperwork or the trained person was missing at the time. They do not by themselves mean food was handled unsafely.

Recorded 6 times across 6 separate inspections, most recently on August 8, 2019. For example: A Certified food safety training course has been taken by the operator and food handlers of the food service establishment.

This place is truly amazing. The management is incredibly kind and professional, the staff are friendly, and the drinks are always made perfectly. Everyone is always smiling, which creates such a welcoming atmosphere. I honestly don't understand why the rating is so low—this store definitely deserves five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am here at least once a week and am greeted by the most friendly staff every time! Arin is who I see the most often, and he can only be described as sunshine. If you are in the Lynn Valley area stop by for a cold drink and warm chat… you won’t be disappointed :)

The best and healthiest! My go-to spot all year round, summer or winter! I love the vibe of this location; it’s so nice and livable. The library is in the same building as Booster Juice, so you can grab your drink and enjoy it while relaxing with a good book. such a perfect combo!

Highly recommend Booster Juice - everything from the food to the service was amazing, and Aiden and Zenna were the best! They even made me an extra egg white burrito right before closing even though they were technically out. I’ll definitely be back, and recommend checking this place out for delicious, healthy, food at a great price.

Callan was very helpful and kind, we came 5 minutes before closing and served 3 drinks with a smile! Definitely coming back again.
