    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not observed at the time of inspection. Please maintain monthly pest control records. AHS pest control checklist would be emailed to the operator.

    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • 1. A sanitizing solution was not observed at the time of inspection.The operator prepared fresh bleach solution during the inspection. Please ensure that a bleach solution is present in the facility at all times. Please do not add soap in bleach solution. 2. Wiping cloths were noted on prep counters. Please be advised wiping cloths must be stored in a sanitizing solution at all times. Please do not store wiping cloths on prep counters. These were moved during the inspection.
    • 05. Do food handlers refrain from handling food while ill and have acceptable attire and hygiene?
      • Staff members were not washing hands between tasks. Importance of hand washing was discussed with the operator during the inspection. Please wash hands between tasks.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Staff personal items such as jackets and purses were noted on food contact surfaces. These were moved during the inspection. The operator was further advised not to store personal items on food contact surfaces. 2. Food items were noted to be stored on floor during the inspection.Please do not store food items on floor. All food items must be stored at least six inches above the floor.3. Cardboard boxes were noted on cooler shelves and being used to store food items. Please be advised that cardboard boxes cannot be cleaned and must not be used to store food items. These were removed during the inspection.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Bleach test strips were not observed at the time of inspection. Please acquire bleach test strips.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Both hand soap dispensers were noted to be clogged at the time of inspection. Both these dispensers were unclogged during the inspection. Please ensure that hand washing sinks are fully stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies at all times.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not observed at the time of inspection. Please maintain monthly pest control records. AHS pest control checklist would be emailed to the operator.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • General cleaning is required underneath the equipment. The operator cleaned underneath the equipment and sent photographs to the PHI within few hours. Please ensure to keep the facility clean and organized.
