    • Where cyanurate stabilization is maintained in outdoor pools, free available chlorine (FAC) reads a minimum of 1.0 ppm and not more than 10 ppm, in association with a cyanuric acid concentration of not greater than 60 ppm.
      • Fail to maintain cyanuric acid concentration (stabilizer) of 60 ppm of less. Close pool.
    • Make-up water is added to the pool during each operating day in a minimum amount of 15L per bather as determined by a water meter installed for that purpose.
      • Fail to have an accurate and functioning water meter present to register the amount of make-up water added to the pool.

    • Every facility has a designated operator that is trained in the pool's operation and maintenance, filtration systems, water chemistry and all relevant safety and emergency procedures.
      • Fail to have a designated operator trained in pool operation and maintenance, filtration systems, water chemistry and all relevant safety and emergency procedures.
    • Black disc (150 mm in diameter) on a white background is permanently affixed to the bottom of the pool at its deepest point.
      • Fail to ensure the black disc is 150 mm in diameter and is on a white background. Close pool.
    • Where cyanurate stabilization is maintained in outdoor pools, free available chlorine (FAC) reads a minimum of 1.0 ppm and not more than 10 ppm, in association with a cyanuric acid concentration of not greater than 60 ppm.
      • Fail to maintain stabilized FAC at 1.0 - 10 ppm. Close pool.
    • A land line emergency telephone is provided, easily accessible and directly connected to an emergency service or to the local telephone utility.
    • Safety equipment, in accordance with the Regulation, is provided and conveniently located for emergency use at the pool.
    • Written emergency and operational procedures and instructions are available at the pool to be implemented in the event of an emergency, accident or injury in the pool.
      • Fail to have written emergency and operational procedures and instructions available at the pool.
