    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • One of the wall tiles used as a baseboard was observed to be missing in the dishpit area. Please replace the missing tile to help prevent moisture intrusion during floor cleaning activities and to reduce the potential for deterioration of the wall structure.The door leading to the recycling area was observed to have worn and deteriorating paint in areas of frequent contact. Please repaint and maintain the door surface in good repair to ensure it remains smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable. You may also want to consider installing a stainless steel push plate in the high-contact area to help protect the surface from further wear and facilitate ongoing cleaning and sanitation.Please discard and replace any cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged equipment. A damaged waste collection container was observed during the inspection. As discussed, maintaining two containers may be beneficial so that while one container is being used for waste counting, a second clean and sanitized container can be placed into service.At the time of inspection, it appeared that the waste collection container was not being cleaned and sanitized between count rotations. Waste containers should be maintained in good repair and cleaned and sanitized between uses.

    • 06. Are appropriate food handling practices and plans in place to ensure that food is handled in a manner that makes it safe to eat?
      • A food container that states "keep refrigerated" was observed at room temperature and had a cracked lid. This was discarded at the time of inspection.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • There is a piece of equipment that is leaking; tray observed underneath it to catch the grease. This needs to be repaired. The entire premises requires a thorough cleaning and in the hard-to-reach areas i.e. coffee area near drive-thru, container for ice scoop, mats in freezer, gravy hot holding unit etc.

    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The drive thru area needs a thorough cleaning including where drinks are made. Syrups were observed spilled/splashed (under ice-cream machine, blender etc.), and the walls near the third drive-thru need cleaning etc. The entry way also needs attention.

    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • A thorough cleaning is required in hard-to-reach areas. The buckets that hold the sanitizing cloths need to be cleaned inside and out before a new solution is replaced. The holder should also be cleaned. Throughout the day and at the end of the day any pop splashes i.e. drink holder on drive-through and trays under dispensing units must be cleaned and sanitized (moving into the season where fruit flies become a nuisance). The floor needs to be cleaned as you can see where the mop goes up against the side of the tiles on the wall. There is a ceiling tile in the dishwashing area that needs to be replaced. The plastic on the fry machine is starting to break down and needs replacing as it may become a physical hazard.
