    • 302 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Inadequate sanitizer concentration in the sanitizer bucket in the drive-thru area. The concentration of bleach sanitizer recorded at 10 ppm at the time of inspection. (Public health significance) The concentration of bleach sanitizer solution should be between 100-200 ppm to be able to effectively sanitize food contact surfaces.
      • Corrective Action: The operator discarded the sanitizer solution and was told to prepare fresh bleach solution and check the concentration using test srips to ensure that it is at least 100 ppm for adequate sanitization of food contact surfaces.
    • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: A small gap was observed in the back door and the weather strip on the door was worn off. (Public health significance) Improper closure of the back door can lead conditions that allow entrance of the pests into the food premises and potentially lead to foodborne illnesses.
      • Corrective Action: The operator to get the weather strip on the back door repaired or replaced to help reduce chances of entry of pests into the food facility.
